Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Reunited With Bronx Family
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Monday has been reunited with her family.
As 1010 WINS’ Roger Stern reported, Naode Diatta walked back into the arms of her family on Friday night.
The girl appeared to be fine when she returned home, but doctors at St. Barnabas Hospital have been checking her out to make sure.
Diatta left home on Monday, to borrow a computer tablet from a friend. The girl was not seen for days until a neighbor spotted her on the D train, returning from Coney Island.
The girl apparently fell asleep on the train and missed her stop. Authorities are working to determine where she has been and if anyone attempted to interfere with her return.
