After returning from vacation Monday with a bang, the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer & Carton were back at it again this morning in the Allstate Studio, getting the sports talk ball rolling with the 'fascinating' - an adjective used throughout today's show open - story that is the NBA free agency frenzy, which is being spearheaded by Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

Craig's focus was squarely on the realistic rumors circulating that Phil Jackson may be able to unload Amar'e Stoudemire and his salary to the Sixers for draft picks.  Thus - according to Craig- clearing cap space that would allow Knickerbockers retain the services of Anthony and also bring in - wait for it - 'King' James himself to play along side of the Melo Man!

Boomer doesn't see James bringing his talents to the Big Apple, but that wasn't going to stop his little buddy Craigie from keeping the faith.

As for the baseball locals, in what has become a rather rare occurrence, both won.  And then there was Alex Rodriguez's permitted use of PEDs and Craig's ant infested-office, all in a well-rounded show open.
