Al Dukes presumably booked Al Leiter to join the big radio program while working up a sweat — the two are members at the same gym.

So Leiter, who played 19 season in the big leagues, which included stints with both the Yankees and the Mets, called in to chat with Boomer and Craig about Masahiro Tanaka’s elbow soreness and consequent trip to the 15 day DL, as well as promote the MLB Network’s extensive All-Star Game coverage.

Of course the conversation could really begin until Craig was through ‘droning his face off’ in the Allstate Studio- which clearly made Boomer very uncomfortable…
