‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro Thanks NYPD, FDNY After Getting Lost In New York Harbor

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro found himself in a boatload of trouble Friday night.

The famous baker got lost in New York Harbor while operating his 32-foot whaler, CBS 2 reported.

Valastro took to Instagram, writing “Want to thank my friends the NYPD and FDNY for coming to help me and my family stuck in the fog in the Hudson, towing us in. You guys rock.”

The star also wrote “Next time we go out at night, need to check the forecast #Mywifewantstokillme.”

Valastro had 12 passengers on the boat at the time.
