Presidential Gridlock Alert: Obama To Visit NYC For 2 Events

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – President Barack Obama will be in town Thursday, just in time for rush hour.

Obama will be traveling to New York City to raise campaign money at separate events for the Democratic Party and the House Majority PAC, which tries to help Democrats win House seats. The events are set to be held at separate private homes in Manhattan and will be closed to media coverage.

The president is set to arrive at 4 p.m. and will head back to the White House later Thursday night, CBS 2 reported.
