Thieves Snatch $181,000 From Caesars Atlantic City In Early Morning Heist

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- New Jersey State Police Monday night were investigating a heist that took place at an Atlantic City casino.

It all went down at around 6 a.m. on Monday, at the Caesars Hotel and Casino, in the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City, CBS 2 reported.

A source close to the investigation said that $181,000 was taken.

Police did not say how many people were involved in the robbery, or how they did it.

New Jersey State Police declined to release further information late Monday, KYW-TV, CBS 3 in Philadelphia reported.
