NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Rikers Island inmate has been located and re-apprehended, a week after being released from the jail facility by mistake last week.
Kimmanie Waisome, 23, was found around noon Tuesday in Queens, according to the Department of Corrections.

The department late Monday was looking into disciplinary action against the officers involved in Waisome’s release, for a breach of procedure, officials told 1010 WINS.
