Police: Bad Paint Job Helps Catch Citi Bike Thief
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A bad paint job helped police catch an alleged thief, CBS 2 reported.
Police say someone stole one of the bright blue Citi Bikes and tried to cover up the crime with white paint. However, the crook didn’t cover up the Citi Bike logo, police said.
As CBS 2 reported, the 68-year-old suspect was busted while pedaling around Flushing, Queens. Police say he is charged with possession of stolen property.
