Cops: Suspect Ran Over Victim And Sped Off Following Queens Dispute

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in identifying a suspect and vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that took place in Queens on Wednesday.

Shortly after midnight, the suspect, operating a GMC 1500 Series Sierra pick-up truck, was stopped by a 29-year-old man as he exited a parked car on 99th Street near 101st Ave.

The suspect and the victim were engaged in a verbal dispute when the suspect allegedly accelerated and bumped the victim. Police said that the suspect accelerated again, ran the victim over, and dragged him several feet before taking off.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital for abdominal and back injuries, as well as several abrasions.
