Police: Suspect Wanted In Arson In South Bronx Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday identified a suspect wanted in an alleged arson on a South Bronx apartment.

Around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, a suspect set a fire apartment 4A at 950 St. John Ave. in the Bronx, and ran off, police said.

Police were searching for Jemal Guity, 25, in the arson. He was described as standing 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 200 pounds.

Police did not specify any suspected motive in the alleged arson.
