Boomer & Carton: Jerry Springer Pays A Visit

Host of the apply named ‘Jerry Springer Show,’ the one and only Jerry Springer, joined Boomer and Craig in the Allstate Studio Wednesday morning and made it clear early on that he was thrilled to be there.

Mr. Springer and Boomer have a relationship that goes all the way back to Cincinnati. After a brief stint as mayor of the city, Springer was a respected news anchor and covered Boomer’s Bengals.

Things got started with the evolution of the aforementioned ‘Jerry Springer Show’; Jerry talked about his relationships with Maury Povich and Oprah; Craig tried his best to land a talk show of his own; Ebola was discussed; how important baseball is to the 70-year-old New York native?; his personal relationship with Pete Rose; a revelation of sorts as he would prefer to sit on a bench but could press 80 pounds if he had to; and he’s thought of as a ‘super hero’ by his five year-old grandson.
