NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police late Friday were searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman in the hallway of a classroom building at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

The incident happened around 8:40 a.m. Friday, inside the chemistry building at the school in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, police said.

The 46-year-old woman was cleaning the hallway floors in the building, when the man walked up, took out his penis, and started masturbating in front of her, police said.

The suspect then ran off, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, with a Caesar haircut and a dark complexion.

He was last seen wearing red jeans and a black T-shirt, police said.

Police have released surveillance images and video of the suspect.
