N.J. Farm Pays Tribute To Derek Jeter With 5-Acre Corn Maze

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- This is the biggest tribute Derek Jeter will receive.

Guaranteed.

VonThun's Country Farm Market & Greenhouses in Monmouth Junction, N.J. has unveiled a rendering of its annual corn maze, and starting Sept. 20, visitors will be able to make their way through a five-acre puzzle of Jeter's face and cap, complete with the message "Thanks Captain Clutch."

The maze will be open through Oct. 31.

The farm shared the news last week on Facebook, where it quickly went viral. VonThun's acknowledged the image was digitally altered, but said "the maze does exist."

"The corn in the maze is still growing and is not quite filled out enough to look this good," the farm replied to one commenter. "One more good rain & a few more warm sunny days should do the job! This design is exactly what the maze looks like!"

Jeter, a five-time World Series champion, plans to retire at the end of this season.
