NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Who doesn’t love Chris Rock?

The funnyman was at Yankee Stadium on Thursday afternoon to watch the Bombers take on the Astros, and he further cemented himself as an affable guy.

Rock — who is a well-documented Mets fan — was sitting on the third-base side next to actor Bobby Cannavale in the top of the seventh inning when a ball was hit his way. Rock grabbed it in the seats and showed it to the crowd, earning a rousing cheer.

And what did he do next? He handed it to a kid, of course.

Well done, Chris. Well done.

Oh, and the Yankees beat the Astros 3-0 behind a Brandon McCarthy shutout.
