Trenton Police Search For Man Who Allegedly Posed As A Cop, Sexually Assaulted Woman
TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for a man who posed as a police officer and reportedly sexually assaulted a woman in Trenton Saturday afternoon.
Police confirmed with 1010 WINS the man walked into a store in the 800 block of South Broad Street around 1 p.m. and identified himself as a police officer. Authorities say the man was said to have been holding a small, black radio and gun.
Police said the man then allegedly took a female employee into a restroom and sexually assaulted her.
Authorities say the man left the store and waved down a 90s tan Toyota Corolla near South Clinton and Roebling Ave.
Police say the suspect is between 45 and 55 years old.
