Violent Night In New York City After 4 Shot In 3 Incidents

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- At least four people were shot in New York City Saturday morning.

As 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported, one of the shootings happened around 12:30 a.m. in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

The gunman walked up to the front of an apartment building at 250 Clarkson Ave. and shot two men, Stern reported.

The victims -- a 21-year-old who was shot in the chest and a 34-year-old who was shot in the leg -- were rushed to Kings County Hospital Center. The 21-year-old was listed in critical condition. The 34-year-old was listed as stable.

Isaiah was playing Dominos nearby and told Stern he saw one of the victims get hit.

"We heard gunshots and everybody ran into the building," he said. "The guy shot and when he shot again he caught (the victim) in his leg and one he caught him in the rib."

Isaiah said the gunman took off in a black car.

A man was also shot in the knee on 40th Avenue in Astoria, Queens Saturday morning. He is expected to recover, 1010 WINS reported.

In Harlem, another man was shot in the torso at West 133rd Street and 12th Avenue. He is recovering at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, 1010 WINS reported.
