NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A hazardous materials team was sent to the tow pound at Pier 76 on the Hudson River Monday afternoon, after a vehicle containing radioactive material was discovered.

The FDNY was sent to the tow pound at Twelfth Avenue and West 38th Street around the beginning of the Monday afternoon rush, CBS 2 reported.
