Search On For Suspect In Sexual Attack In Bronx Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday released a surveillance video of a suspect in the sexual abuse of a woman in a Bronx apartment building.

The assault happened around 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, police said. A 34-year-old woman was inside her apartment building on Morris Avenue in the University Heights section of the Bronx, when the suspect walked up to her from behind and sexually abused her, police said.

The suspect ran off, police said. The woman refused medical attention.

The suspect was described as a black male standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
