Hundreds Celebrate Brazilian Day In Midtown
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Brazilian Day celebrations beat the rain in Midtown Sunday afternoon.
Hundreds of New Yorkers were out and about, enjoying food and festivities in their green and yellow.
The celebration of the Brazilian culture spanned 25 blocks in the heart of Little Brazil on West 46th Street, CBS 2 reported.
The grand event celebrates Brazil's Sept. 7, 1822 declaration of independence from Portugal.
