Police: Truck With Over $1,000 Worth Of Seafood Stolen From The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Wednesday evening for a suspect who stole a semi-trailer truck with more than $1,000 worth of seafood in the Bronx.

Around 12:15 p.m. Monday, the truck was parked at Pinkney and Hutchinson avenues – between the New England Thruway and Boston Road – in the Eastchester section of the Bronx, police said.

The truck, with its more than $1,000 worth of unspecified seafood, was stolen, police said.

The truck was composed of a maroon Freightliner cab with license plate F4475N from Florida, and its utility trailer, with license plate 0753CP, also from Florida, police said.

Police have released photos of the truck and the license plates.

Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
