Rob Astorino's Spoof Video: Cuomo Kills Unicorns

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo is a "unicorn killer" and "locked Santa in a chimney," a new ad by Republican gubernatorial hopeful Rob Astorino says.

Of course, the online video is tongue-in-cheek. The ad, which also says Cuomo pushed Humpty Dumpty off the wall, accuses the Democratic incumbent of making up stories about Astorino.

"Two can play that game," the narrator says in the video.

The ad includes two young girls saying Cuomo is "the worst man in the world" and "a monster."

The video ends with the narrator saying: "New Yorkers need jobs and tax relief, Gov. Cuomo. How about talking issues for a change?"

In a separate video, Astorino's son, Sean, takes issue with the Cuomo campaign for cutting him out of a photo with his father used in an ad.

"I went to a football game with my dad when I was 7," Sean says. "It was a really great day for me. It was one of my favorite pictures ever with my dad. It wasn't very nice of you that you cut me out of it."

Cuomo and Astorino, the Westchester County executive, will face off in the Nov. 4 general election.

The governor says he plans to debate Astorino, but no date has been announced.
