NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — On Sunday, more than 25,000 will walk and run from Brooklyn through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel all the way to the World Trade Center.
It’s all to remember and honor the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
The Tunnel to Towers 5K retraces the steps of fallen firefighter Stephen Siller, who ran to Ground Zero, but never returned home.
CBS 2’s Andrea Grymes sat down with Siller’s brothers, George and Russ Siller, to talk about the event.
