Cops: Would-Be Queens Rapist Fled When Victim Fought Back

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape that took place in Queens.

According to authorities it all took place outside of 83-89 Daniels Street, shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday. the suspect approached the 26-year-old victim, threw her to the ground, and told her that he was going to rape her. The victim fought back, and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect has been described as an Asian male, he is 5'5", 140-lbs.
