LISTEN: Rolle Guarantees A Pick-6 This Season; If Not He'll Buy Benigno A Steak

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Giants safety Antrel Rolle joined WFAN co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts in his weekly spot on Tuesday afternoon, and the three-time Pro Bowler was understandably in a good mood.

After losing the first two games of the season, Big Blue has rattled off two consecutive victories to even its record and resurrect its season.

Rolle discussed, among many other things, what's behind the Giants' strong play as of late and what can be expected as the schedule shifts to October.

LUNCH WITH A CHAMPION: ANTREL ROLLE WITH JOE & EVAN ON OCTOBER 7

When Benigno predicted that Rolle will score a touchdown this season, things got fun. The exchange went like this:

Benigno: You're getting close to getting in the end zone. I've got a feeling that before the year's over, you're gonna get a pick-six and stick one in. You're getting close. Almost!

Rolle: I guarantee you before the year's over I'll get a pick-six.

Benigno: Guarantee? I'm writing it down!

Rolle: I guarantee you. If not, I'll owe you a steak dinner.

So there you have it, folks. It's been documented.

New York faces a significant challenge over the next two months. After hosting the Falcons on Sunday, the Giants will play the Eagles, Cowboys (twice), Colts, Seahawks and 49ers before taking on the Jaguars on November 30.

We'll know sooner rather than later what this team is truly made of.

"As long as we don't hurt ourselves, we have a great shot," Rolle told Joe & Evan. "I think we have a great shot. I think that's what's been hurting us all along ... I think we're our own worst enemy, and as long as we take care of that, I think the sky's the limit for this team. I have all the faith in the world in this team. We're a very, very talented group, and once you put that confidence in that group, watch out."
