Giants RB Rashad Jennings Has MCL Sprain, Could Miss Next 2 Games

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Giants running back Rashad Jennings has an MCL sprain, coach Tom Coughlin announced on Monday.

Coughlin said that he's considering Jennings day to day until more information is known, though it's conceivable that the 29-year-old will miss the next two road games against the division-rival Eagles and Cowboys.

The Giants' bye week comes after those two critical games.

Jennings left Sunday's victory over the Falcons early in the third quarter and underwent an MRI on Monday.

In his first season with Big Blue, Jennings has carried the ball 91 times for 396 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. He's also caught 11 passes for 109 yards.
