Valley Central HS Football Team Member Has Special Moment At Friday Night Game

MONTGOMERY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - It was quite an emotional night Friday at a high school football game in Orange County.

A player for Valley Central who has down syndrome got to do something he always dreamed of.

Tyler Muise, who had never played a down before, ran 15 yards for the TD before the actual game began.

Muise, in his No. 43 jersey, has been a fixture on Valley Central's sidelines since 2012. When the coach recruited him after his mom died of cancer.

The team instantly embraced Muise and Friday night he was carried off the field after his touchdown.
