Man's Body Pulled From Hudson River At 41st Street
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man's body was pulled from the Hudson River offshore from Hell's Kitchen Tuesday.
Police were dispatched around 1:25 p.m. after a 911 call of a person in the water in the river near 41st Street, police said.
The NYPD Harbor Unit responded and pulled the 20-year-old man's body to Pier 81, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The New York City Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of the man's death. His identity had not been released Tuesday night pending family notification.
The investigation continued late Tuesday.
