Police: Subway Newsstand Looted Of $30K In Goods, Scratch-Off Tickets

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - New York City police are looking for three suspected who made off with $30,000 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets, cigarettes and cash from a subway newsstand.

Police say the three male suspects cut the lock on the New Golden Apple newsstand at the Fifth Avenue-53rd Street station on Sunday. Police say they took $5,200 in cigarettes, $20,000 worth of scratch-off tickets and $4,000 in cash.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS or visit the Crime Stoppers website.
