Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash In North Lindenhurst, Long Island
NORTH LINDENHURST, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was killed Friday evening when he struck another vehicle in North Lindenhurst.
The driver of the other vehicle was also injured.
Jennifer Ginexi was driving her 2013 Ford Fusion north on Wellwood Avenue in North Lindenhurst around 7 p.m. Friday when she was struck by a Honda Civic driven by Karim Abouedlfadl, Suffolk County police said.
Abouedlfadl, 26, of Lindenhurst, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Ginexi, of North Babylon, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The two vehicles were impounded in West Hampton for safety checks, police said.
