Afternoon Forecast Oct. 28, 2014: Warm Temps, September-Like Feel

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tuesday is the perfect day for a stroll outside or exercising.

Although not as pretty a day as Monday due to the clouds, the high temp of 71 makes this a great fall afternoon. In fact, 71 is the normal high for Sept. 27, according to CBS 2 Meteorologist John Elliott.

However, big changes are on the way.

On Saturday, Nov. 1, the high will be 47 -- which is the normal high for Dec. 3, said Elliott.

So we go from a September feel today to a December feel in a few days.

A few showers are possible as a storm front pushes through the area Wednesday.

Things will dry out and brighten up Thursday, said Elliott.

Two systems are merging and converging Friday.

And then we may see some wet...snow into the weekend.
