Woman In Zombie Costume Charged Twice With DWI Near Rochester

GATES, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say a woman wearing a zombie costume and makeup was charged with drunken driving twice within three hours after attending a Rochester bar's "zombie prom'' party.

Police in Gates said that 26-year-old Catherine Butler of Rochester was arrested around 2 a.m. Saturday when an officer spotted her driving without her headlights on.

She was taken to the police department, where a friend picked her up, police said.

She later got back in her car and was stopped again just before 5 a.m. driving on the same road when an officer spotted her car swerving in and out of the lane, police said.

Butler, who was still in a zombie costume and makeup, was arrested again for DWI as well as failure to maintain lane, police said. Her police mug shot shows her wearing fake blood and cuts on her face.

Butler is due in court in November.
