NYC Corrections Officer Accidentally Shoots Himself In The Leg In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A New York City corrections officer was holstering his weapon when it accidentally fired, hitting him in the leg, at the Brooklyn Detention Complex on Atlantic Avenue, a spokesman for the Department of Correction said.
The spokesman said the injury does not appear to be life-threatening.

The officer was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, WCBS 880's Jim Smith reported.
No one else was injured.
