Water Main Break In Moonachie, NJ Fixed After More Than 12 Hours

MOONACHIE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A water main that flooded streets for more than 12 hours in Moonachie, N.J., has been fixed.

Contractors hit the giant pipe around noon Friday while trying to install underground electrical cables.

Initially, the water spewed 15 feet in the air and several businesses were left without water.

The break even put two weddings in jeopardy.

But thanks to water tankers and portable bathrooms, both parties went on.
