Pierre Garcon: Redskins Bus In Accident On Way To Game
MINNEAPOLIS (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon has tweeted a message saying the team bus he was riding in was in an accident on the way to Washington's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Redskins tweeted shortly after that the team had arrived safely at TCF Stadium.
Garcon's tweet says, "So this just happened. But we are ok."
A photo accompanying Garcon's tweet, taken from inside the bus, shows a broken front windshield. There is a police car parked in front of the bus and emergency workers, one pushing a stretcher on wheels, standing in the road.
The Redskins and Vikings are scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. EST.
