Giants Set To Honor Hall Of Famer Michael Strahan At Halftime Monday Night

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It will be a who's who of Giants immortals at MetLife Stadium.

A subplot to the intriguing Monday Night Football matchup between Big Blue and the Indianapolis Colts will be the 100-some odd Giants greats that will be on hand for a halftime ceremony honoring newly minted Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special pregame ceremony honoring more than 60 of the best players to pull on a Giants jersey, including Ottis Anderson, Carl Banks, Mark Bavaro, Tucker Frederickson, George Martin, Joe Morris, Gary Reasons, and Bob Tucker.

All fans in attendance will receive a No. 92 rally towel honoring Strahan upon entrance to MetLife Stadium.

The former players on hand to honor Strahan will include former teammates such as Jessie Armstead, Howard Cross, Rodney Hampton, Antonio Pierce, Jason Sehorn, Amani Toomer and David Tyree, along with Giants Pro Football Hall of Famers Lawrence Taylor, Frank Gifford and Harry Carson.

Giants running back David Wilson will sign autographs for fans from 6:30 p.m.-7:15 p.m. and former linebacker Dhani Jones will sign from 7:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m. at the MetLife Central Stage. Giants alum Stephen Baker will sign autographs from 6:45 p.m.-8:15 p.m. in the Bud Light Beer Garden, located directly outside of the Bud Light Gate.

The Giants (3-4) are coming off a bye and beginning a very difficult part of their schedule, with games at Seattle, and at home against San Francisco and Dallas to follow Monday's matchup with the high-powered Colts (5-3).
