11/7 CBS2 Friday Afternoon & Weekend Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Happy Friday, everyone!

The good news is, we won't see that foggy, drizzly, damp afternoon we saw yesterday -- talk about miserable! We will, however, see more clouds than this morning, a few stray showers, struggling temperatures in the low 50s, and if you haven't noticed already, gusty winds! And we could see them peak at 30-35 mph, so hold on to those hats!

It will remain blustery into this evening with temperatures quickly falling into the 40s after sunset. And with that persistent northwest wind on our hands, "feels like" temperatures will be working their way into the 30s late this evening into the overnight... brrr!

Tomorrow we get off to a brisk start with sunrise temperatures in the mid 30s... coldest yet! The remainder of the day stays quiet and chilly, but there's still a low end chance that a weak front could touch off a shower late tomorrow night into early Sunday. That said, have a small umbrella with you if you plan on heading out.

As for Sunday into Monday, it's still looking generally quiet with temperatures working their way back to normal... mid to upper 50s.

Check back for more details on Veterans Day weather, and the big chill in store late next week!

Have a safe and pleasant weekend!
