11/9 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good Sunday morning! We're starting off the day with some cloud cover and temps in the mid 30s and low 40s across the area.
Don't be dismayed - we'll see clearing skies this afternoon with a high of 54 in NYC and temps in the 50s elsewhere - exactly where we should be this time of year. All in all, a great crisp fall day...perfect if you're going to MetLife Stadium for the Jets game later today.
Monday will be even better with more sunshine and a bit more warmth. I expect a high of 58 with a few spots even reaching 60. This is a few degrees above normal and pretty nice for early November - we'll take these days when we can get 'em!
Temps peak on Veterans Day with highs in the mid-60s across the area and a weak cold front cools us down to the mid/upper 50s Wednesday. Things will cool down even more into the low 40s thereafter...with a few rain/snow showers in the mix Thursday night into early Friday.
Be sure to stay tuned.
