This latest incident, between a man and a woman, occurred after the woman grabbed a pole to hang on that was in front of his girlfriend's face.

Passengers can be seen keeping the two apart after it became physical, but the insults are still exchanged back and forth.

Earlier this week, a fight broke out on an F train approaching the West 4th Street/Washington Square stop in Greenwich Village. In that video, subway riders can be seen getting involved.

Subway rider Chelsea spoke with 1010 WINS' Holli Haerr and said she's never seen a subway fight and she'd rather just stay away.

"My first instinct would be to run, just go the opposite direction and avoid any type of trouble and get help," she said.

But another frequent rider told Haerr he steps in to stop fights.

"I'm just not very bright. I just get involved," he said.

Some people wonder if there has been an uptick in fights on the subways or just videos of the fights being posted online.
