Giants Place Cox On IR, Sign RB Darkwa Off Dolphins' Practice Squad

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Giants have signed running back Orleans Darkwa off the Miami Dolphins' practice squad.

The Giants announced the move Wednesday when they placed running back Michael Cox on injured reserve. He broke his leg against Seattle on Sunday.

Darkwa played in four games for the Dolphins this season, catching three passes for 31 yards and rushing twice for 2 yards. The former Tulane product also played on special teams.

The Giants also signed cornerback Josh Victorian to their practice squad and terminated the contract of safety Kyle Sebetic
