Trenton Man, Cesar Urena Valverde, Sentenced To Four Years In Prison After Child Porn Sweep

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - A central New Jersey man caught up in a child pornography sweep last year is now headed to state prison.

State authorities say 31-year-old Cesar Urena Valverde, of Trenton, received a four-year sentence Wednesday.

Valverde was arrested in October 2013, when detectives and agents executed a search warrant at his home and seized computers and hard drives containing 152 images and videos of child porn.

He had pleaded guilty in September to possession of child porn.

Valverde was among 28 defendants charged in two offender sweeps under "Operation Predator Alert," a joint operation by state and federal officials. The sweep, which launched in June, targeted offenders in New Jersey who authorities say used a file-sharing network to download and distribute child porn online.
