11/13 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all,
Today started out on a sunny and clear note, but clouds and chilly temps overtook the area by mid-afternoon. Light rain is starting to fall in New Jersey and Long Island, while some wet flakes are overtaking a few towns to the north.
Expect overnight travel to be a bit slick as well as the morning commute.
I don't foresee much in the accumulation department for us here around the coast, but inland area could see an inch or so. Well to the north and west, perhaps 2 to 3 inches will be seen in higher elevations.
We're very busy here in the CBS2 Weather Center tonight, so check back in frequently for updates.
