11/14 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Good afternoon, everyone.

You may have just stepped outside where it's nice and bright, but despite the sunshine, temperatures will continue to struggle in the low 40s. That said, today's looking like our coldest afternoon of the season so far -- and yes, the breeze will persist through sunset, which will only add insult to injury.

The atmosphere cleans out nicely by tonight. Expect moonlit skies and temperatures bottoming out right around the freezing mark... coldest night of the season!

If you're stepping out tomorrow morning, grab the hat, gloves, coat -- you name it, wear it! And even though we're looking at another bright one, it's going to be another struggle to get into the low 40s in the afternoon... nearly 15° below our normal high of 55° (which is starting to sound rather balmy, isn't it?).

On Sunday we'll start to see temperatures rebound, though skies won't be quite as pretty. And Sunday night into Monday we'll see some wet weather return to the area.

Stay in touch for details on next week's rain!

Have a great weekend!
