Jogger Finds Man's Body In Westport, Connecticut

WESTPORT, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police were investigating after a jogger found a man's body on the street Saturday morning in Westport, Connecticut.

Police said a jogger came across the unresponsive black male lying on the shoulder of Partrick Road around 9 a.m. Saturday, CBS affiliate WFSB-TV, Hartford reported.

The man was wearing only a white tank top, blue jeans and brown shoes.

The jogger flagged down a passing motorist who contacted police.

The motorist and jogger began CPR on the man who was treated and transported from the scene by Westport EMS.

The man was brought to Norwalk Hospital where efforts to resuscitate him failed and he was pronounced dead just before 10 a.m.

He has been identified as Sandokan Kayan Harrell, 39, of Bridgeport, WFSB reported.

Police said there were no visible signs of trauma to Harrell.
