11/21 CBS2 Friday Evening & Weekend Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Weather Producer

Good evening everyone.

Hopefully you dressed warmly today because it was just plain brutal out there at times! With the strong northwest winds, it felt like the teens and 20s throughout the day, despite highs in the upper 30s. The good news is temps will be rebounding over the next few days!

Your overnight will be cold once again, with mostly clear skies aiding with that radiational cooling. Lows will be in the 20s, but the winds will be diminishing so those nasty wind chill values will be leaving us.

It remains dry for your day tomorrow with high temps hitting the low 40s, slowly moving us back to near normal for this time of year.

A slight chance of showers moves in for tomorrow night into Sunday, especially north and west of the city. A.M. clouds Sunday morning should give way to sun and temps will reach the mid-50s!

Rain moves back in Sunday night and looks to continue into Monday. But the bigger news will be the very warm temps... highs in the mid to upper 60s! It's very likely some places will hit the 70 mark, especially in parts of New Jersey.

You'll want to check back heading through the weekend though, as temps look to be on the decrease once again after that.

Have a great weekend!
