11/22: CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all!

The chill was with us today but thankfully the winds were not, so it didn't feel all too bad today! A weak disturbance passing through will touch off a few showers mainly north of NYC. Since it will be right near the freezing mark in the northernmost suburbs, some of that rain could become ice on contact with the ground...no need to grab ice skates, just be careful in the early morning hours well north & west.

Sunday will feature more in the way of clouds by late in the day, but it will also be warmer. Temps will max out in the mid-50s, which will be a couple of degrees above the norm.

The next solid rain chance arrives tomorrow night/Monday morning with a period of steady rain-- possibly heavy at times. Monday morning drive time looks like a mess to put it nicely; bring the rain gear heading to work or school. One good thing about Monday is the temps: well into the 60s, with a few spots touching 70! If only it wasn't going to rain it would be a great day to play hooky!

Temps back off into upper 50s on Tuesday with mainly sunny skies. Then we watch a potential storm for Wednesday which may bring some chilly rain.

Be sure to check back later for that and also our Thanksgiving forecast!
