Hosts Kevin Frazier, Thea Andrews Preview Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Thanksgiving morning isn't complete without the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year, Kevin Frazier from "Entertainment Tonight" and Thea Andrews of "The Insider" will be your hosts on CBS2.

They joined CBS2's Mary Calvi in studio Tuesday to preview the iconic parade.

The cold weather in Thursday's forecast was a hot topic.

"This is an unbelievable situation that it will snow, because it's so warm right now," Frazier said.

"I sent Kevin a text earlier: 'It's like bikini weather in New York right now. Within three days, it's going to drop,'" Andrews said.

Frazier said one of the celebrity appearances they are most looking forward to is a performance by Taylor Swift.

"At a time when people can't sell records, she's selling records," he said. "She is nothing short of spectacular, so we're really excited to have Taylor as a part of our broadcast."

Andrews noted that viewers will be able to get a little taste of Broadway as the casts of "Matilda" and "Pippin" will perform.

There will also be some "mystery drop-by guests," Andrews said.

And of course, there will be floats and balloons. This year's giant balloons include Thomas the Tank Engine, Spongebob Squarepants, Pikachu and Snoopy.

"When the floats and balloons come by, it's something that's so spectacular," Frazier said. "And I bring my boys every year. They're 4 and 7. And to turn in and look at them and see their faces, then it just takes me back to when I'm 3."

Coverage of the 88th annual parade begins on CBS2 at 9 a.m. Thursday. 1010 WINS, the official radio station of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, will also provide full coverage Thursday morning.
