11/26 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Hello all,
We're just about to drop temps across the entire area and push the rain-snow line farther east. So the city can expect a last little burst of snow on top of our rainy mess we've had so far.
Totals are just about on track. The winter wonderland parts of the Tri-State are panning out as advertised. Big flakes are stacking up.
Some reporting around 9 inches up in Sussex County, New Jersey; about the same over to Orange County in New York. Three to 7 inches or so have been seen in the middle towns and counties before you get to the lowlands near the coast.
Near the coast it has mostly been a cold and raw rain event, but the back end will spit out another inch or so. See the maps for totals and projected snowfall.
OK, I gotta jump back -- we're really busy here in the CBS2 Weather Center!
