11/30 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good afternoon!

Did you catch this morning's sunrise? Clearing skies to the east made for a beautiful view! If you were out and about earlier today, you probably noticed we started out warmer compared to yesterday. Temps actually rose overnight with the passage of a warm front.

You can expect a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon, with highs reaching the low to mid 50s. Clouds move back in again tonight, and there is the chance of a passing shower. Temps remain fairly warm overnight, upper 40s to around 50 in the city.

Monday we'll tap into a southwest flow once again ahead of a strong cold front. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 50s, but as that front approaches, there is the chance of a shower or two. Those temps drop back down below freezing overnight into Tuesday with lows around 30.

It's definitely back to the winter feel come Tuesday, as temps only reach the upper 30s. There is a chance of rain and even some wet snowflakes Tuesday night into Wednesday, especially south of NYC. The rain chance lingers into Wednesday, but it will be warmer with highs in the low 50s.

Definitely a roller coaster ride this week with the temps as we enter a fairly unsettled setup for the next few days. Be sure to check back for updates! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
