Funeral Held For 3 Children Shot By Mother In Tabernacle, NJ

TABERNACLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A funeral Mass was set for Saturday afternoon for three children who were killed by their mother in a murder-suicide at their southern New Jersey home last month.

Friends and family said goodbye to 14-year-old Nicholas Harriman, 11-year-old Alexander Harriman and 8-year-old Nadia Harriman at a service in Tabernacle, New Jersey.

Police said on Nov. 20 Jeannine LePage, 44, shot the three children inside the family's home before turning the gun on herself.

LePage used a pillow to muffle any noise so five other relatives who lived in the home wouldn't hear what was happening, police said.

Nicholas and Nadia died at the scene, and LePage and Alexander Harriman died later at a hospital.

Authorities have not said what may have prompted LePage to shoot her children, saying it was a mystery that may never be solved.
