Jerry Recco's Monday morning updates never disappoint -- and today's effort was no exception.

Unfortunately for the Jets and their legions of loyal fans, Gang Green once again came up on the short end, this time against Minnesota, losing to the Vikings 30-24 in OT.  Jerry got the ball rolling with the story around the Jets 11th loss of the season, after which their fledgling head coach Rex Ryan took the blame.  As for starting quarterback Geno Smith, he is confident things will turn around.

While the Jets were grinding out a loss against the Vikings, the Giants were putting a pasting on the Titans in Tennessee, winning their fourth game of the season in blowout fashion, 36-7.  Tom Coughlin could be heard afterwards talking about being 'joyous,' which prompted Craigie to break into character.  Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie did some celebrating and was forced to defend his actions based on Coughlin's anger level.

Plus, the rest of the important scores and stories from Week 14, the college football playoff picture is set, Knicks drop to 4-18 after falling to the Blazers at the Garden by a score of 103-99 with LeBron James sitting courtside - but not to worry - Carmelo Anthony is confident the Knickerbockers aren't too far away - from what exactly is anyone's guess.  The Nets will be without Brook Lopez for at least the next four games, Prince William and Princess Kate will be at Barclays tonight when the Nets host the aforementioned 'King' James and his Cavs and NJIT pulls off the upset over Michigan Saturday night and we have the audio to prove it...
